You can reach the CNRS “Centre Paul Langevin” in Aussois via Modane, a small town near the Italian-French border in the French Alps. Modane is easily accessible by highway (Lyon-Turin) or by train (from Paris by TGV). Aussois is located 7 km from Modane. Taxis are available in front of Modane train station and a shuttle bus may be available depending on your arrival time.
